Food Fridays!: Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats
I decided to be a sweetheart and make a sweet treat for my co-workers. PB Rice Krispie treats are one of my favorite sweet treats, so I decided to make them.
What you'll need:
6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
3 tbsp butter or margarine
4 cups of mini marshmellows OR 1 10 oz. bag of large marshmellows
1/2 cup of peanut butter
Instructions:
Melt butter on a low heat in a medium sauce pan. Once melted, add the marshmellows. Stir until melted. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until melted. Stir in Rice Krispie cereal until well coated. Coat a 13 X9 pan with a non stick spray and flatten mixture. Let cool.
They're delicious! To make regular ones just keep the peanut butter out of it. :) Enjoy!

DIY (iPhone) cover!
Hey! So every girl loves a cute phone case. But I just refuse to spend $25+ on a case that is just going to fall apart. So I decided to make my own. (or one for Aly.. haha)
Here's what it looks like: (keep in mind I hadn't cleaned off all the hot glue mess before taking the picture. Lol!)
It was easy & SUPER cheap! I went to the dollar store and bought a clear phone case. You could get a colored one too to have a color behind the jewels. Then I went out and bought a pack of different sized rhinestones and pulled out my hot glue gun. :)
I started in the top corner and worked my way down. I picked different sized "stones" in a random order.
It was super easy and it came out great! I had a TON of left over rhinestones. I can't wait to make more with different colors and things! This is a great gift idea that was under $5 to make! So when stones fall off (Let's face it, it happens..) I won't be upset that I wasted $25+ on it! :) And I can have multiple ones to use for different occasions.
Hope you enjoyed this!

Homemade Mod Podge!
So, we all know how crazy expensive Mod Podge can be. And let me tell you, we go through it FAST. Instead of spending $6.99 for a bottle, we found and equally as good alternative for a fraction of the price.
What you'll need:
Bottle of Elmer's Glue
Mason Jar (or any other kind of container you'd like to use)
Water
Yeah.. that's it!
How to make it:
Empty the bottle of glue into your container. Then just add an equal amount of water. Viola! Done! :)
It will be watery, but don't worry about that. This stuff is the real deal! It does have a matte finish, so if that's not the look you're going for then you'll have to spray it with a clear acyrlic spray.
Happy crafting!
